Baramulla Police conduct security response rehearsal
Baramulla Police conducted a TII Naka response rehearsal on the Baramulla-Chandoosa Road to enhance security preparedness and response mechanisms within the district. The exercise was designed to assess the operational readiness of personnel during simulated security situations and to strengthen response protocols at naka points, which are used for checking and interception duties.
The drill allowed officials to evaluate coordination among personnel and identify areas for improvement. This follows recent security reviews in the Chandoosa area, which included assessments of CCTV coverage and compliance by SIM vendors regarding subscriber record maintenance.
These measures align with a broader emphasis by security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir on intelligence-based operations, surveillance, and effective interception. IGP Kashmir Sujit Kumar has previously stressed the importance of grassroots intelligence generation and sustained operational preparedness.
