Baranów celebrates 100 years since church consecration

The parish of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Baranów is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its church's consecration. The monumental building was constructed between 1910 and 1922, with the official consecration performed by Archbishop Antoni Julian Nowowiejski on August 23, 1926.

Local clergy noted that the construction of such a large temple was a significant achievement for the community, given that the Kurpie region was historically one of the poorer areas. The jubilee celebrations include a Holy Mass led by Bishop Janusz Stepnowski of Łomża, followed by a jubilee festival.
