Barbados and Saint Lucia prepare for CONCACAF Nations League

Barbados and Saint Lucia are preparing for their upcoming CONCACAF Nations League campaigns. Barbados has announced a 24-member squad for its League B campaign, featuring 11 overseas-based players. Head coach Kent Hall noted that while the team enters as underdogs, the squad offers a balance of youth and experience.

Barbados is scheduled to open its campaign against Saint Lucia on September 25 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium, followed by a match against Bermuda on September 28. The team will later host Bermuda at the BFA Technical Centre on October 2 and 5.

Saint Lucia, led by interim head coach Francis “Baba” Lastic, will face Barbados in their opener. Lastic reported that despite inclement weather affecting training, the locally based squad is focusing on increasing intensity and fitness levels to meet international standards. The Saint Lucia team is also competing in League B, Group B.
