Barbados tourism highlights natural scenery and cultural events

Barbados offers diverse activities ranging from rugged natural landscapes to cultural events. The northeastern coast in the parish of St Lucy features Cove Bay, a windswept area characterized by tawny sand and cliffs, and Pico Teneriffe, a limestone pinnacle. Visitors can access Cove Bay via a 45-minute drive from Bridgetown, though the final approach involves a dirt track.

Cultural and recreational events are also prominent across the island. Scheduled activities include the GT Challenge Series at Bushy Park, the Caribbean Grand Market at CARIFESTA House, and various local markets and hikes, such as the Chalky Mount Group Hike. These offerings span motorsport, music, history, and local gastronomy.
