Barbados Tridents secure 1xBet sponsorship for 2026 CPL season

The Barbados Tridents cricket team has announced a new sponsorship agreement with international betting brand 1xBet for the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season. The partnership will include logo placement on team kits, stadium advertising, and social media promotions. The 2026 CPL season is scheduled to run from August 7 to September 20.

In addition to commercial developments, the Barbados Tridents are conducting the ‘Live Like a Pro’ initiative at Kensington Oval. This program allows young Barbadian cricketers to train alongside professional players and coaches during pre-season preparations. Minister of Sports and Community Empowerment Charles Griffith attended the sessions, encouraging participants to observe the discipline and commitment required to reach the highest levels of professional sport.
