Barbara Bursztynowicz decries rising holiday prices on Poland’s Baltic coast

Actress Barbara Bursztynowicz, long‑known for her role as Elżbieta Chojnicka in the TV series Klan, recently left TVP and has taken on new projects such as the dance show “Dance with the Stars” and the series “Szpital św. Anny”. In a recent interview she expressed strong frustration with the high prices at Polish Baltic seaside resorts, saying she is not afraid of them but “it outrages me”. Bursztynowicz affirmed her love for the Baltic Sea, noting she plans a vacation in September or October when the beaches are less crowded.

She highlighted the “paragony grozy” (horrifying receipts) that tourists face, underscoring concerns about affordability for holiday‑makers on the Polish coast.
