Barbara D’Urso to make comedic cameo in Tony Pitony film

Italian television personality Barbara D’Urso will make a comedic cameo in the upcoming film ‘Tony Pitony – Il Filmony’. Directed by Volfango De Biasi, the movie marks the cinematic debut of the Sicilian singer Tony Pitony, known for his Elvis Presley-inspired persona.

D’Urso announced her involvement via social media, sharing a photo from the set. While specific details of her role remain undisclosed, reports suggest it will be a brief, humorous appearance. The film’s plot explores the relationship between the artist and his famous mask, which has become more well-known than the man himself.

The cast includes Beatrice Arnera, Massimo Ceccherini, Nicola Rignanese, Dario Bandiera, and Fabrizio Biggio, with musical contributions from Mika and Ditonellapiaga. Produced by Tramp Limited, Tosc, and Vision Distribution in collaboration with Sky, the film is scheduled for a 2027 theatrical release.
