Barbara Meier launches sustainable Dirndl line with Angermaier

German model and actress Barbara Meier, 40, unveiled a new sustainable Dirndl collection on Instagram ahead of the 2026 Wiesn season. The line, created with Munich traditional house Angermaier, is branded “Angermaier Greenline x Barbara Meier”.

The collection comprises four models – Isadora, Mila, Mariella and Marie‑Therese – each fully OEKO‑TEX certified and tested for harmful substances. Design details include a bright‑red, wide‑skirted Isadora; a coral‑coloured Mila with a stitched pretzel on the back; a pretzel‑stitched Mariella with a hunter‑linen bodice and mother‑of‑pearl buttons; and a velvet‑bodiced Marie‑Therese featuring a colour‑changing green apron.

Meier said the collaboration, now in its fifth year, reflects her long‑standing commitment to fair and environmentally‑friendly fashion. She noted that sustainably produced Dirndls remain harder to find than conventional traditional wear.
