Barbastro hosts solidarity gymnastics gala for Alexander disease

The Aragonese Gymnastics Federation organized a solidarity gala titled ‘Un paso por María’ at the Polideportivo Ángel Orús in Barbastro. The event aimed to raise funds for the Alexander disease association and show community support for María López Galindo.

The gala featured rhythmic and aesthetic gymnastics, including individual, male, and mixed team performances. Participating clubs included representatives from Aragón, Lleida, and Benicarló. Notable participants included Inés Bergua Navales, a World and European champion and captain of the Spanish rhythmic gymnastics national team. Various clubs, such as Club 2000 GR Barbastro and Club 90 from Huesca, contributed different gymnastic disciplines to the event.
