Barbora Seemanová targets personal record at European swimming championships

Czech swimmer Barbora Seemanová has expressed confidence in her form ahead of the upcoming European Championships in Paris. After facing injury setbacks and a physical recovery period, the 26-year-old athlete aims to defend her title in the 200m freestyle.

Seemanová's primary objective is to break her personal record by swimming under 1 minute and 55 seconds. She identified British swimmer Freya Colbert as a key competitor in the event. Seemanová noted the difficulty of returning to peak performance after injury, stating, "It was difficult. It is a lot of nervousness, and at the same time, huge pressure to meet the limit."

The European Championships swimming schedule, which includes various finals and semifinals from August 10 to August 16, will be broadcast on ČT Sport.
