Barbosinha hits 200 career goals, boosting ACBF's futsal campaign
Roberto Soares Barbosa, known as Barbosinha, recorded his 200th professional goal in the 329th match of his career during a 5‑5 draw with ABF in the Copa RS de Futsal on 29 May. The milestone came after he opened the scoring for Associação Carlos Barbosa de Futsal (ACBF).
Since joining ACBF in 2024, Barbosinha has netted 96 goals in 134 games, nearly half of his total career tally. Earlier in May he converted a decisive penalty in the Libertadores de Futsal final, helping ACBF secure its seventh continental title by beating Magnus in a 7‑6 shoot‑out.
Barbosinha, a native of Cacique Doble (RS), previously played for Chapecoense, Xaxiense, Marreco, Copagril, Atlântico and Praia Clube, and earned his first Brazil national team call‑up in 2016. ACBF now leads Group B of the Copa RS and is set to finish the first phase of the LNF Cresol competition.
