Barbra Streisand Announces Debut Children’s Book ‘And By the Way…’ for March 2027

Barbra Streisand, the EGOT‑winning singer and actress, will publish her first children’s picture book titled “And By the Way…”. The book is being released by Flamingo Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers, and is illustrated by Paige Keiser. It follows a grandparent and grandchild as they explore everyday activities that lead to reflections on life’s core truths. Streisand said the project is personal, inspired by reading picture books with her three grandchildren, and she hopes it will appeal to other parents and grandparents. The title, a phrase she often uses, reflects themes of discovery, self‑expression, self‑reliance and love. Pre‑orders are open and the official release date is set for March 30, 2027.
