Barcelona bakery Los Flanes opens in Gràcia neighborhood

A new specialized pastry shop, Los Flanes, has opened in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, focusing exclusively on two distinct styles of flan: the Parisian version and the traditional Spanish version.

The Parisian flan features a crunchy base with a croissant-like texture and a rich, creamy filling. In contrast, the Spanish version maintains a smooth and creamy texture similar to the traditional dessert. Beyond classic vanilla, the shop offers various flavors including pistachio, tiramisu, lemon pie, and hazelnut.

The opening has drawn significant interest, resulting in long queues at the Puigmartí street location.
