Regional infrastructure and urban development projects across Spain and Argentina

Various regional developments are underway across Spain and Argentina. In Argentina, the Province of Buenos Aires is working to complete unfinished construction at UNNOBA, which reached 80% completion before national funding was interrupted in 2023. The remaining 20% of the project, including elevators and climate control systems, may be funded through the provincial budget.

In Spain, several infrastructure and urban projects are progressing. Estepona is preparing a new tender for public transport, while Igualada has begun works to bury its railway station and tracks, a project costing 37 million euros. In Cádiz, nearly 50 million euros have been authorized for the project design of a new hospital. Additionally, Gandia is investing in a climate refuge on its seafront and has completed the rehabilitation of the Casas de los Ferroviarios. In Benidorm, the government is finalizing nine affordable rental homes for young people and single-parent families. Other local initiatives include road improvements in Sevilla, urban redevelopments in Sant Adrià de Besòs, and cultural events such as the Gàmesis video game festival in Vinaròs and the La Mercè festivities in Barcelona.
