Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress opens 2026 CISO Leadership Awards nominations

The Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC) has opened the call for nominations for the CISO Leadership Awards 2026. Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya (ACC), the awards aim to recognize digital security professionals and executives for their contributions to protecting companies, critical infrastructure, and services.

Candidates, including Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and digital protection managers from both public and private sectors, can submit applications until September 14. The awards feature ten categories, such as female leadership, professional career achievements, and the Global CISO of the Year.

A jury led by Anett Mádi-Nátor, president of Women4Cyber, will select the winners. The jury includes industry experts such as Jon France (ISC2), Marcos Gómez (INCIBE), and Katy Anton (JP Morgan). The awards ceremony will take place on November 4 during the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress, which is scheduled for November 3–5 at the Gran Via venue.
