Barcelona family of 77 completes pilgrimage to Međugorje

A large family from Barcelona, consisting of 77 members, recently completed a pilgrimage to Međugorje. The group was led by Marta Sanfelia, 79, and Antonio Gamiz, 86, who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

The family includes 13 children and 44 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The couple, who first visited Međugorje in 2009, reported having visited the site approximately 25 to 26 times since then. During their visit on September 12, they spoke with Radio Mir Međugorje about their spiritual experiences.

Antonio Gamiz shared a personal account regarding their daughter, Maria, stating that after being told by doctors they could not have children, the family dedicated a pilgrimage to prayer for a miracle. He noted that two months after a subsequent pilgrimage, Maria became pregnant and has since had four children.
