Barcelona favored to win 2026-27 LaLiga title by Opta supercomputer

An Opta supercomputer simulation has identified FC Barcelona as the favorite to win the 2026-27 LaLiga title. After conducting 10,000 simulations of the season, the model gave the defending champions a 45.6% probability of winning the league.

Real Madrid follows as the primary challenger with a 31.0% chance of victory. The club enters the new campaign under the management of Jose Mourinho. Atlético Madrid holds the third-highest probability at 8.6%, followed by Villarreal at 3.3% and Real Betis at 2.0%.

Regarding relegation risks, the simulations suggest that Deportivo de La Coruña, Elche, and Sevilla face significant challenges, each with a nearly 30% chance of being relegated. Other clubs identified as high-risk for relegation include Racing de Santander, Espanyol, and Málaga.
