Barcelona hosts international volleyball congress and VALORANT Fan Fest
Barcelona will host several major sporting and competitive events in the coming weeks. Guillermo Enrique Paredes, president of the FIVB Rules and Officiating Commission, is scheduled to participate as a speaker at the V International Volleyball Congress on September 5 and 6 at the Hotel Barcelona Plaza. Paredes, an experienced international instructor with a career spanning five decades, will engage with Catalan referees regarding rule interpretation and the evolution of international officiating.
In Badalona, Riot Games will host a free Fan Fest from August 28 to 30 surrounding the Palau Olímpic. The event coincides with the VCT EMEA Stage 2 finals, a competitive VALORANT tournament determining qualification for the Champions in Shanghai. The festival will feature gaming zones, tournaments, and opportunities to meet professional players and content creators, offering public access to activities outside the main competition arena.
