Barcelona man kills wife in front of child and neighbor
At about 19:30 on Tuesday, police say Yarman, a Dominican man in his forties, entered the family flat at 102 Andrade Street in Barcelona's Sant Martí district and stabbed his wife Camila, a 34‑year‑old Brazilian, repeatedly in the neck with a knife. The attack was witnessed by the couple's older son, who opened the door, and a neighbor who entered after hearing the screams.
The neighbor and her husband took the children outside. Yarman fled in his van; the vehicle was later found burned on Espronceda Street. He surrendered to the Mossos d'Esquadra in the Eixample district a few hours later and remains in police custody pending a judicial appearance.
