Barcelona manager Hansi Flick outlines strategy for El Clásico

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has detailed his tactical approach for the upcoming El Clásico against Real Madrid. Addressing the challenge of neutralizing Kylian Mbappé, Flick emphasized that the solution lies in collective defensive organization rather than targeting a single player.

Flick highlighted the importance of maintaining a compact formation and precise positioning, both with and without the ball. He noted that a high defensive line, supported by disciplined spacing between players, is essential to facilitate effective pressure and assist the backline.

Additionally, Flick expressed confidence in his current central defensive pairing, Pau Cubarsí and Gerard Martín, praising their recent performances and growth. This follows a previous encounter where Barcelona's defensive line successfully utilized offside traps to neutralize Mbappé.
