Alejandro Balde linked to Premier League move from Barcelona

Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde is reportedly being considered for a departure during the January transfer window. The 22-year-old has seen a reduction in playing time under manager Hansi Flick, leading to speculation regarding his future at the club.

Several Premier League clubs have expressed interest in the Spanish left-back. Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the situation, with United specifically exploring the possibility of an initial loan deal to bolster their defensive options. Other clubs linked to the player include Arsenal, Everton, Fulham, and Sunderland.

While Balde has previously indicated a desire to remain at Barcelona to prove himself, reports suggest he may be open to a move to England to secure more consistent playing time. Barcelona is reportedly open to a sale or loan as the player's current contract runs until 2028.
