Barcelona: Shooting reported at a residence in Can Peguera

Gunshots were fired at a residence on Paseo Urrutia in the Can Peguera area of Barcelona's Nou Barris district during the early hours of Thursday. While no injuries were reported, Mossos d’Esquadra officers discovered several shell casings at the scene.

Investigators are currently exploring the possibility that the shooting was an act of intimidation related to a clan conflict, though this hypothesis has not yet been confirmed. This incident is part of a recent surge in firearm-related violence in the Barcelona metropolitan area, marking the fifth such incident in recent days, following shootings in Raval, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and El Prat de Llobregat.
