Barcelona to host 2026 Wheelchair Tennis season finales

Barcelona will host the first editions of the newly renamed wheelchair tennis season finales from November 9 to 15, 2026. Following approval at the World Tennis General Assembly in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the former Wheelchair Tennis Masters will be split into two distinct competitions: the NEC Wheelchair Singles Finals and the UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Finals.

The events will take place at the Centre Internacional de Tennis de Cornellà, marking the first time this venue will host an international wheelchair tennis competition. This marks Barcelona's second time hosting the finals in four years, having previously held the Masters in 2023.

Organized by the Catalan Tennis Federation, the tournaments will feature top international players across the men's, women's, and quad categories. Expected participants include Tokito Oda, Yui Kamiji, Alfie Hewett, Diede de Groot, Niels Vink, Sam Schröder, Gustavo Fernández, Daniel Caverzaschi, and Martín de la Puente.
