Barcelos Youth Festival sets record attendance

The fifth edition of the Barcelos Youth Festival, held on August 13 and 14, achieved record attendance with an estimated 50,000 people attending over the two-day period.

Organized by the Municipality of Barcelos, the event featured musical performances by artists including MC Jacaré, Lon3r Johny, and Kevinho. The festival included various activities such as the ‘Palcos D’Rua’ in the historic center, a pool party at the municipal pools, and a new eSports station designed to engage younger audiences with modern trends.

Local officials reported a positive outcome, noting high engagement and a peaceful environment without recorded incidents. To facilitate movement, the TUBA Urbano service was provided free of charge during the event.
