Barcis to host mountain tourism data training course

The University of Udine is hosting a specialized training course in Barcis on September 21 focused on the application of small and big data to mountain tourism. The initiative, part of the Scuola della Montagna – Dolomiti Friulane, aims to teach up to 20 participants how to use territorial data to improve tourism systems in mountain areas.

The course will explore both quantitative and qualitative data to assist in decision-making processes for local tourism. Led by scientific director Andrea Guaran, the program seeks to stimulate youth entrepreneurship and support the socio-economic vitality of the Friulian Dolomites. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion, which is also valid for three university credits.
