Barclades and Bank of America Warn of Stock Market Risks
Barclays has issued a sell rating for Apple (AAPL), projecting the share price could fall to around $253 – roughly a 20% decline from current levels – citing stretched valuation multiples, supply‑chain pressures and rising component costs.
Bank of America analysts caution that the U.S. equity rally may be overheating, flagging a possible “summer correction” as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit record highs. They advise investors to protect gains and prepare for heightened volatility between June and September, while still maintaining a long bias through June and forecasting the S&P 500 could reach 8,000 by the end of 2026.
