Barclays adjusts Bytes Technology stake and upgrades GEA Group
Barclays has reduced its stake in Bytes Technology Group to below the 5.05 percent reporting threshold. Previously, the British financial institution held a combined position consisting of 2.95 percent in direct shares and 2.10 percent through derivatives.
Despite the reduction in holdings, analysts maintain a positive outlook on Barclays stock. A consensus of six research houses classifies the stock as a ‘Moderate Buy’ with an average price target of 576.67 pence, representing a potential upside of approximately 19 percent from recent trading levels in London.
In a separate move, Barclays has upgraded its rating for GEA Group from ‘Equal Weight’ to ‘Overweight’. The investment bank also raised its price target for the company from 70 to 78 euros, citing strong business quality, attractive valuation, and potential for higher margins.
