Barcolana regatta sees class victories for Manticore and Me Cube

The 58th edition of the Barcolana regatta took place in the Gulf of Trieste, featuring 1,858 registered vessels. Several teams achieved notable class victories during the event.

Skipper Gabriele Bruni, representing Club Canottieri Roggero di Lauria, led the vessel Manticore – Edilimpianti to first place in the Maxi class (approximately 18 to 30 meters). The 62-foot boat, owned by Franz Baruffaldi Preis, also secured fifth place in the overall standings.

Additionally, the team Me Cube, owned by Stefano Novello and Riccardo De Roja, secured first place in its category. Me Cube finished 29th in the overall standings, competing effectively against larger maxi and supermaxi vessels despite challenging wind conditions.
