Bard Al-Saif initiative concludes in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province
The fourth edition of the ‘Bard Al-Saif’ (Summer Cool) initiative has concluded in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Organized by the Saudi Health Management Association, the three-week program aimed to mitigate the effects of summer heat on community members.
The initiative involved approximately 400 volunteers and targeted a total of 40,000 volunteer hours. It aimed to reach at least 20,000 beneficiaries, maintaining a daily average of roughly 1,000 people served. Dr. Thamer Al-Dar'an, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Health Management Association, praised the participants for their efforts in promoting social responsibility and community solidarity.
Beyond its humanitarian impact, the initiative is estimated to have generated an economic impact of approximately 1.2 million riyals.
