Bardonecchia hosts fifth stage of Look Up Clean Up initiative

The “Look Up Clean Up” initiative, launched by Save the Planet, has reached its fifth stage in Bardonecchia. Supported by companies Enegan and Neogreen Roma, this national campaign travels across Italy to promote sustainability through the collection of waste in urban centers, beaches, and points of interest.

The Bardonecchia event, which received patronage from the local municipality, involves various local associations and the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), which has invited tourists to collect refuse along forest trails. This stage follows previous stops in Brisighella, Capo Peloro, Treviso, and Otranto.

The initiative is part of the lead-up to World Clean Up Day on September 20, a United Nations-agenda event involving millions of people globally. The campaign is scheduled to conclude with a final event in Florence on September 19, featuring roundtables focused on planetary preservation.
