Bareggio to repurpose confiscated criminal assets for community use

The municipality of Bareggio has issued a public notice for the free concession of two properties confiscated from organized crime. Located on via Papa Giovanni XXIII, the buildings include one space intended for offices and studies and another for an arts and crafts workshop.

The municipality is seeking non-profit organizations or third-sector entities to develop sustainable social projects. Proposed activities may include socio-educational, cultural, or socio-assistential services, as well as training and community aggregation. Mayor Linda Colombo stated the goal is to transform these assets into spaces that generate social value and services for citizens, prioritizing access for local residents and vulnerable individuals.
