Bareilly police investigate death of man following love marriage

Police in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, are investigating the death of a 26-year-old man named Faizan, whose body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his home in Navdia village. The incident occurred approximately one month after Faizan entered into a love marriage with his wife, Jasmin.

Jasmin stated that Faizan had been under significant stress due to his family's disapproval of their marriage, which had led to them living separately. She reported that he appeared fine after dinner on Saturday night and she discovered him hanging the following morning.

However, Faizan's family members have raised suspicions regarding the circumstances of the death, noting that there was blood coming from his head. Local police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and are investigating all possibilities, including suicide and foul play.
