Barendrecht and Leiden host lively local markets in June 2026

On Saturday 20 June 2026 the Immanuel Church in Barendrecht held an action market that ran until 13:30, offering stalls with books, fruits, vegetables, clothing, handmade crafts, toys, coffee, fresh orange juice, snacks and ice‑cream.

Later that month, from 27 to 28 June 2026, Leiden’s Hooglandse Kerkgracht hosted the ninth edition of the “Kunst onder de bomen” art market as part of the Lakenfeesten. The event featured 33 stalls of local makers displaying paintings, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and a 3D‑printer demonstration, with coffee and gelato served by Freski Gelati. Both markets attracted many visitors and showcased a mix of food, retail and creative products.
