Barezzi Festival returns for 20th edition in Parma

The 20th edition of the Barezzi Festival is scheduled to take place from December 10 to 13 in Parma and its surrounding areas. The four-day musical event features a lineup of international and Italian artists, including Peter Hook and The Light, Arab Strap, John Grant, Sébastien Tellier, Sleaford Mods, Gaia Banfi, Lamante, and Davide Ambrogio.

Special highlights include the Italian debut performances by Peter Hook and The Light and Arab Strap. Additionally, the festival will host ‘Beyond all return – A Tribute to Glen Hansard’ at the Teatro Regio on December 11, honoring the late Irish singer-songwriter.

Directed by Giovanni Sparano and produced by the Associazione culturale Luce in co-production with the Fondazione Teatro Regio di Parma, the festival aims to blend contemporary sounds with historical musical influences through various venues and cultural experiences.
