Bari and Arezzo bolster defenses with new signings

Italian football clubs Bari and Arezzo are strengthening their defensive lines through new signings.

Bari has officially signed Matteo Anzolin, a left-back who was previously a free agent following his time with Triestina. Anzolin, born in 2000, has a background in the Juventus youth system and has played for Wolfsberger AC in Austria. He has signed a contract until June 2027 and has already been training with the squad for approximately one week to address depth issues caused by injuries to Alessandro Celli and Riccardo Burgio.

Arezzo is in advanced negotiations to sign Gian Marco Ferrari, a veteran central defender. Ferrari, born in 1992, has extensive experience in Serie A and Serie B with clubs such as Sassuolo, Crotone, Sampdoria, and Salernitana. Most recently, he played in the United Arab Emirates for United FC. Arezzo seeks to bolster its defense after conceding 13 goals in the first five matches of the season.
