Bari football club faces stadium hurdle risking Serie C registration

Italian Serie C deadline on 16 June is looming for Bari Calcio, which currently lacks an approved home venue. Mayor Vito Leccese has set three conditions for the use of the San Nicola stadium: appointment of a new management team to oversee a future club sale, launch of a structured search for new investors by 2028, and creation of a municipal guarantee committee to monitor relations with the club. Alternatives such as the Monopoli stadium are unavailable due to renovations, and the Tonino D’Angelo venue in Altamura has been rejected. Failure to meet the conditions could leave Bari without a compliant stadium and jeopardize its Serie C registration.
