Bari hosts free cultural program featuring theater and workshops
The city of Bari is hosting a series of free cultural events through the “Le Due Bari” program, a municipal initiative designed to bring live performances and workshops to various city districts. The schedule includes diverse activities such as music, dance, circus, and theater across multiple municipalities.
One featured series, “Unite gli Estremi e Avrete il Vero Centro” by ResExtensa, focuses on themes of legality, memory, and social inclusion. Highlights include a writing and theater workshop titled “Non è stata la mano di Dio” at Parco Peppino Impastato, which will be accessible via Italian Sign Language (LIS) interpretation. Other performances include “Viva Garibaldi” at the San Girolamo Waterfront and the national premiere of “Charcoal Sparkle” by Teatro della Centena APS.
Additional programming includes musical performances at Spazio Murat, theatrical productions regarding historical figures, and workshops in local churches and squares. The events aim to foster active citizenship and provide accessible artistic research to the local community.
