Bari launches inclusive parenting pilot project for family support

Mamme Contatto APS has launched a new pilot project in Bari titled ‘Inclusive Parenting – Integrated Pilot Protocol for Perinatal Support for the Protection of Minor Well-being’. Co-financed by the Regional Guarantor for the Rights of Minors of Puglia under the GAMI 2026 notice, the initiative aims to support contemporary family structures and protect children's rights starting from before birth.

The program consists of three main pillars: specialized training for professionals focusing on inclusive language and perinatal stress management; intensive personalized support for six families with infants up to three months old, including breastfeeding and babywearing assistance; and free community group meetings for parents during the first year of a child's life.
