Bari opens late school transport enrollment for 2026/2027

The Municipality of Bari has opened a late enrollment window for its school transport service for the 2026/2027 academic year. Families who missed the original June 30 deadline can submit applications from September 7 to September 20.

Applications will only be accepted if there is available capacity on existing routes; no new itineraries will be created. Applicants must specify an existing stop from the 2026/27 Transport Plan in the notes section of their online application.

According to Councilor for Knowledge Vito Lacoppola, this window aims to provide additional opportunities for families, provided it is compatible with current service organization. While regular service begins on September 21, late enrollees will start at a later date depending on application processing and seat availability.

Applications must be submitted online via the municipal portal using SPID or the Electronic Identity Card (CIE). Payment should only be made after receiving official confirmation of admission. Required documentation includes a valid ID and the minor's ISEE certification.
