Bari police arrest seven individuals in organized crime investigation

Authorities in Bari, Italy, have arrested seven individuals following an investigation into criminal activities linked to a local organized crime clan. The arrests, executed by the Bari Mobile Squad on November 4, 2026, follow an order from the Judge for Preliminary Investigations.

The suspects face various charges, including the possession and carrying of firearms in public, threats, violence, and resistance to public officials, aggravated by mafia-style methods. Additionally, they are accused of possessing war weapons and receiving stolen goods.

The investigation reconstructed several criminal incidents, including a September 2024 event where suspects allegedly used a handgun to intimidate youths at a service station, causing mass panic. The judicial proceedings are part of a broader effort to address juvenile delinquency and organized crime in the region.
