Bari Port Authority reports successful management of major September events

Francesco Mastro, president of the Southern Adriatic Sea Port System Authority, detailed the successful logistical management of two major events held in Bari on September 4 and 8.

The first event, a celebration for the Fratelli d'Italia party, hosted approximately 10,000 people, including Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and various national ministers. During this event, the port authority managed six naval units, including Ro-Pax, cruise, and Ro-Ro vessels, facilitating the movement of over 3,400 arriving passengers and various vehicles, including cars and trucks.

The authority provided logistical and operational support to law enforcement and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to ensure security and assistance for elderly and disabled attendees.
