Bari hosts 89th Fiera del Levante international exhibition
The 89th edition of the Fiera del Levante international exhibition is scheduled to take place in Bari from September 19 to 27, 2026. Themed ‘Levante – Enterprises, peoples and cultures at the center of the Mediterranean’, the event aims to reinforce Bari’s historical role as a hub for dialogue and trade between Europe and the East, particularly the Balkans.
The exhibition will feature diverse sectors including automotive, food, construction, and innovation through the PULSE 2.0 pavilion. The Puglia Region will host a dedicated space to showcase regional projects covering topics such as the blue economy, agriculture, and community schools.
Bari Mayor Vito Leccese expressed regret over the absence of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni from the inauguration, noting it is the fourth consecutive edition without her presence. Despite this, Leccese highlighted the event's growing importance in terms of exhibitors and its mission to promote dialogue amidst complex geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and Central Europe.
