Bari Registry Office closed due to water damage and power failure

The Registry Office located at via Santi 40 in Bari has been closed to the public due to a technical failure. A burst pipe caused significant water infiltration into the electrical cabin, necessitating a shutdown of power to the entire building to ensure safety.

Essential services, including birth and death declarations and urgent electronic identity cards (CIE), will be maintained through temporary counters at adjacent offices. For urgent identity card requests, a fee of 22.20 euros in cash is required. Regular operations at the main office are expected to resume on Monday, August 17, although restoration work may continue in the following days.
