Bari residents report issues with unregulated shared scooter parking
In Bari, residents are reporting significant issues with the unregulated parking of shared electric scooters. Users are reportedly abandoning vehicles on cycle paths, in front of park entrances, on sidewalks, and near waste bins.
This “wild parking” is causing obstructions for pedestrians, cyclists, and individuals with disabilities, as well as parents with strollers. Citizens have called for stricter regulations similar to other Italian cities, where users face fines or are unable to end their rental sessions unless the vehicle is left in a designated authorized area.
