Bari Weiss adds Daily Mail reporter and ABC producer to CBS News investigative unit

Since becoming editor‑in‑chief of CBS News, Bari Weiss has recruited new talent for the network’s investigative unit, the I‑Team. She hired Daily Mail reporter Josh Boswell and veteran ABC News producer Cho Park to join the unit.

Boswell is known for politically charged exclusives, including the Hunter Biden laptop story and UFO reports; Park has worked on investigations into NFL concussion‑settlement discrimination, sports abuse, and environmental hazards. The hires coincide with CBS’s addition of British broadcaster Sir Trevor Phillips as a senior global affairs correspondent.

Weiss, who founded The Free Press and previously wrote for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, was appointed CBS News editor‑in‑chief after Paramount Skydance acquired The Free Press in October. CBS senior investigative editorial director Matthew Mosk said, “We are deeply committed to this in‑depth reporting because it delivers on our promise to give viewers something they can’t find elsewhere.”
