Barile to host book presentation on Italian cinema and landscapes

Author Anna Giammetta will present her book, ‘Come in un Film – Viaggio nell’Italia ispirata al cinema’, in Barile on October 4. The event is part of the 30th edition of the ‘Tumact me tulez’ festival, which celebrates Aglianico del Vulture wine and local typical products.

The book explores Italian locations, stories, and communities through the lens of cinema, highlighting how film can serve as a tool for territorial promotion and tourism. The presentation in Barile is noted for the town's own cinematic history, including its role as a setting for Pier Paolo Pasolini’s ‘Il Vangelo secondo Matteo’.
