Barile volunteers transform local staircase into Peace Staircase

Volunteers from FIDAS blood donors in Barile have completed a community project to transform the staircase in via dei Donatori into the ‘Scalinata della Pace’ (Staircase of Peace). The initiative used colorful decorations to create a space intended for reflection, welcome, and social sharing.

The project aims to promote urban decor and encourage community participation in caring for shared public spaces. By using symbolic colors, the volunteers sought to send a message of peace and togetherness during a period marked by global conflicts.
