Barilla guarantees job security at Marcianise plant during sale

Barilla has confirmed its commitment to maintaining operational continuity and protecting jobs at its Marcianise plant in Campania. During a crisis meeting convened by the Campania Region, the Parma-based company met with labor officials and regional authorities to discuss the industrial plan involving the transfer of the site to Pastificio Liguori.

The company stated that the transition to Pastificio Liguori will ensure both employment and production stability. Furthermore, the Marcianise site will continue to manufacture products for the Barilla Group under multi-year supply contracts with the acquiring company.

The meeting included representatives from Flai Cgil, Fai Cisl, and Uila Uil unions. This dialogue follows an eight-hour national strike called by unions affecting all of the group's Italian plants.
