Barilla extends scholarship partnership with Fondazione Intercultura for 2026‑27 school year
Barilla has renewed its long‑standing partnership with the Fondazione Intercultura ets for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The collaboration, launched in 2000 and expanded in 2007, funds scholarships that enable children of Barilla employees attending Italian secondary schools to study abroad while also providing teacher training and scientific research support.
Over 25 years, 53 students have received scholarships out of 158 applicants, travelling mainly to North America (56%), Europe (30%), South America (11%) and Asia (1%). The program is administered by Intercultura APS, which selects candidates based on academic performance, motivation and personal maturity. The renewed agreement continues the non‑profit, intercultural education model that Barilla supports as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The partnership underscores Barilla’s investment in international mobility and intercultural competence for the next generation of students.
