Bariloche and Maturín launch urban beautification projects

Municipalities in Bariloche, Argentina, and Maturín, Venezuela, are implementing urban beautification projects through the acquisition of new ornamental plants.

In Bariloche, the local government received 1,700 red Lovely variety rosebushes from Buenos Aires province. These plants will be processed at the Municipal Nursery before being distributed to public spaces, specifically targeting the Costanera area and Esandi Avenue as part of an initiative by Mayor Walter Cortés to improve the city's urban image.

In Maturín, the Mayor's Office received over 1,000 ornamental plants to support a sustainable landscaping plan led by Mayor Ana Fuentes. The shipment, which includes species such as red ixora, crotons, flamboyant trees, and garden cujíes, will be distributed to major roads including El Ejército and Libertador Avenues to enhance the environmental surroundings and public areas.
